On the other hand, if you’re debating becoming a hair stylist or nail technician, it will be worth the extra time to complete a cosmetology program. It takes less time and completely focuses on your area of interest. So, when it comes to cosmetology vs makeup artist – which is the right program for you? If you are set on doing makeup and makeup only, your best bet is to enroll in a Makeup Artistry program. The part-time program takes 72 weeks to complete and is held Monday through Thursday from 5:30 to 9:30 pm. The full-time program takes 43 weeks to complete and is held Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. You can enroll in our part-time or full-time program, depending on your schedule and how quickly you’d like to complete your education.
